The Nest occupies the thinnest building in Warsaw, across the street from Hala Koszyki. Since October 2018 it has held private offices, virtual offices and a bistro from the MICHELIN Guide 2026 on the ground floor.

Why is this building so narrow?
The streets here were laid out in the 18th century, on the orders of Stanisław August Poniatowski. His Stanisław Axis was meant to connect Warsaw with the royal residence at Ujazdów, and it followed the French model of radiating squares. The squares are still here: Na Rozdrożu, Zbawiciela, Unii Lubelskiej, and Politechniki, where the metro stops. So are the sharp angles between the streets that run into them. Piękna and Koszykowa meet at one of those.

The Stanisław Axis
The streets run out from the squares like spokes. Where two of them meet, the plot left over is a triangle. It gets built out to the very edge, so the corner comes out thin.

The shape that stayed
The plot is given the outline it still has. It settles the proportions of anything that will ever stand on it.

A tenement with a lantern
A four-storey house is built on the triangular plot. Its converging façades form a narrow corner, crowned by a round lantern.

A new corner
Warsaw's heritage conservator approves a form that steps out over the pavement from the second floor up. The overhang runs along both streets and grows with every level. That is how the upper floors hold more square metres than the plot beneath them.

Three glazed segments

The mass splits in two. A closed core carries the stairs and the lifts. The rest is glass, stepped out over the pavement and cut into three segments.
The panes are set slightly out of line with one another. Walking past, you catch the neighbouring tenements and Hala Koszyki reflected in them — at a different angle with every step. A pre-war tenement once filled this plot completely. Today the same corner is closed in glass.

The Nest officially launched in autumn 2018, but the project's story began a year earlier, on the initiative of Equinox Capital Partners. It was born from a simple observation: Warsaw was missing a boutique office building that combined a prestigious address, designer architecture and real work comfort.

The concept is born
The Nest is initiated by Equinox Capital Partners. Architects at Grupa 5 design the distinctive, fully glazed form. Interiors are created by Beza Projekt.
- 2018
Official opening
On 26 October we open The Nest at the corner of Piękna 49 and Koszykowa, across from Hala Koszyki. The slender, boutique architecture catches the attention of the whole city.
- 2020
Coworking and awards
We launch the coworking space at The Nest. The building is featured on Wallpaper magazine's list of the world's best designed office spaces.
- 2022
All eight floors
We finish fitting out every storey. Each floor gets designer interiors and its own meeting rooms inside the space that is leased.
- 2024
500+ companies
We pass half a thousand clients and welcome our first international teams.
- 2025
Dedicated offices
We close the coworking chapter. Two formats are left: the virtual office, if an address is all a company needs, and a private office, if the team needs the square metres.

The narrow, slender form of The Nest is an architectural curiosity of the city. The glazed façade lets daylight into every floor, and the slim shape gives the building a character no typical class-A office can reach.
